This is a beautiful seasonal book packed full of fun nature activities that will help children engage with the season in both
a structured and unstructured way while learning practical new skills.
The authors have included a mix of indoor and outdoor activities for autumn, including basket-making,
house and shelter building, looking after birds, working with beeswax and making paper, and some great seasonal stories,
songs and recipes,.
The activities in this book are based on practical experience from the Children's Nature and Garden Centre in Reichshof,
and are fully tried and tested. Irmgard Kutsch, born 1952, trained as a vet before working with children with special needs.
She established the Children's Nature and Garden Centre in Reichshof in 1994, where children and teachers can learn about
nature and participate in workshops.
Please note that while this book is set around the European Autumn you only need to substitute the names
of the months for our Autumn months as all of the activities can be applied here.
